Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark will host the Third International Scientific Webinar on Geological Diversity on October 6th, in collaboration with Payame Noor University, Tabas Center. The event is organized to mark the International Geodiversity Day and will feature speakers from Iran as well as from the Asia-Pacific Geoparks Network (APGN).

In this international webinar, the representative of the Aras UNESCO Global Geopark will narrate the story of an abandoned village that, through the efforts of its local heroes, was transformed into a geotourism destination and inspired the return of its former residents.
