A group of international journalists and media representatives, as part of the major event “Iran Plus”, visited the Aras Free Zone and the Aras UNESCO Global Geopark to closely observe the unique geotourism potentials of this geopark. Najafzadeh, Head of the Aras UNESCO Global Geopark Office, stated: A group consisting of distinguished foreign media representatives, during this one-day trip, visited the St. Stepanos monastery geosite, one of the historical and natural treasures of the Aras UNESCO Global Geopark.
