During a one-day field visit to the Aras UNESCO Global Geopark, geology students from the University of Tabriz became acquainted with the concepts of geoparks and visited several geosites, including Allibashi, the Nummulite Fossil Site, the Shalali Valley Geosite, as well as the Aras UNESCO Global Geopark visitor center. This one-day visit was organized within the framework of the scientific and educational cooperation agreement between the University of Tabriz and the Aras UNESCO Global Geopark.
