The Strategic Council of the Aras Geopark convened with the participation of the Geopark Director, the Deputy for Cultural Affairs and the Director of Tourism of the Aras Free Zone Organization, senior consultant of Aras geopark, representatives from the Jolfa County Governor’s Office, the Border Guard, and the Prosecutor’s Office.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on enhancing cooperation and coordination to advance the objectives of the Aras Geopark and to monitor the performance of its various sectors. Both short-term and long-term plans of the Aras UNESCO Global Geopark were reviewed.
